As the saying goes, ‘what you plant is what you will get’. This means that if you plant a seedling and take care of it properly, it will grow into a beautiful tree and give a good harvest. This analogy can also be applied to people’s lives. Many people from various countries dream of coming to the United States of America for a better life. The root cause of this is the same for most people – a desire for a better life. However, those who came to America many years ago had a different reason. They came because they were forced to leave their country in order to survive. Nowadays, people have the opportunity to create a better life in their own country, but many still dream of living in another country. This is a sad reflection of the past 100 years which has led to the current generation’s pitiful condition.
